Yes, they make a ton of money in a short amount of time, but it is life-threatening work. A great book on the subject is The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger. (Forget the movie - it was ridiculous). But the book described the brutal life of commercial fishermen. You do understand why seafood costs so much.
I understand, and I do not mind paying. Those giant legs are the best! I definitely respect what they go through for them, that is why I love the show.

Johnrudy, I know you'll think I'm joking when I say this, but I miss Phil Spector. The day I was scrolling the page and he jumped out, I laughed and laughed and laughed--you made my day!
I guess only someone in the music business can "appreciate" Phil S. He is so bizarre tho. I'll bring him back when you least expect it. ;-)

He might have to change it if he goes to jail. His murder trial is delayed, but now an aide has accused him of sexual harrassment.

I agree about the danger of the fishing life as described in The Perfect Storm.
Linda Greenlaw, the captain of the sister ship to the lost swordfishing boat, later tried her hand as a lobsterman, and the result was this book:
The Lobster Chronicles
Not an easy life.
