The city of Denver just passed a law making it legal for persons => 21 yrs of age to possess up to 1 oz of Pot. I believe Denver makes the 3rd such city to do so.

If you can carry an ounce of pot, is it legal to buy it? Or can you be locked up for that?

Oooh, this reminds me of something! One summer ago, we found pot in our son's room (Merman was looking for a computer thingie in the boy's room, so we weren't snooping around 
). We confronted him with it, gave him a lecture about it, and then I flushed the goods down the toilet. It was an instantaneous reaction on my part--flush flush!
So here I am watching the little swirling flakes go down the toilet and all of a sudden it dawned on me that never in all my years of parenthood had I felt like such a Mother! I'll leave it up to you what kind of mother I was.
