Does Anyone Shop on EBay?

EBay scares me. But then again, ATM cards scare me. Furs at the beach scare me. Guns scare me. Designer logos don't scare me so much as they make wonder why the people wearing them don't get paid for free advertising. Big huge new houses scare me, and when they cut down trees to make way for those huge houses it really po's me. I am not scared in my home, I am cozy and sometimes the big huge houses that surround me give my plants some shade. I could go buy all those "things" I suppose, but I am just happy with what I've got and no material object has factored into that equation. My family and friends are what make me happy and not so scared. I am blessed.

As those of us, that are lucky enough to really know the sweet, kind, compassionate person you really are. We are blessed in kind, to count you as a friend.

Well, I'm still trying to raise some $$ for mission trips to Senegal. (Oh, I got sidetracked.) BUT, I know some good folks that buy sterling silver, vintage china, crystal, etc., from estate sales, sell them on EBay and then donate that profit to these missions I speak of. They've really gotten into the fun of it, and have raised a lot of $$!!
My son and husband have bid on special, import music. They have fun doing it.

I like the idea of all the creative recyling that EBay fosters. Better that one man's trash has the opportunity to become another man's treasure. And so much the better when the profits work their way into something charitable. That's absolutely a win-win situation for everyone, and funn besides.

I do hope I'm the high bidder on the Bare Escentuals, now that I've gotten two stellar recommendations about it! Wish me luck everyone...a beautiful Mermaid depends on it! :funn:

Gosh, I know nothing about Bare Escentuals. I'll have to research it a little. Is it sold in dept. stores like Marshall Fields or Lord and Taylor? Or just specialty stores like Sephora. (I saw a gift under the tree from my husband from Sephora, in their gift-wrapping.)

I hope you win! But the beauty of Ebay is there is always another chance.
I consider Ebay the world's biggest flea market.

i love bare escentuals - have been a user for several years now, that is when i bother to use makeup. (who cares what you look like at 3 am?) i got started on it when it was a today's special value on qvc - it is very good for people with sensitive skin.

Is the coverage good? Does it make your face oily? There is not a place around her that sells it, so I too was thinking of hitting Ebay.

i think it provides really good coverage, will use as concealer a lot of times. and no, it doesn't make your face oily, which is really nice for those of us with oily skin !
