i spin every day and I'm most happy and have that thousand yard stare when I'm done.
congratulations Beachsio - I'm proud of you! Do you wear an OMB bra of some kind while running? I do think runners are nuts. The injuries and long term impact on the body are ridiculous. but, whatever makes one happy I suppose!I began running last July for the first time and finished my first half-marathon in June, next one is in November. I frequently smile and play the "air drums" which is kind like an air guitar. I just did it this morning when I ran about 3 miles.

Sure, some people claim to enjoy exercise. But then, some people claim to have been abducted by aliens too.
I understand what you're saying about running, but I am feeling the opposite. My knees used to hurt as did my lower back prior to running but now I feel a lot better. I will NEVER be a marathoner but 3-5 miles three times a week has been very good for me physically, not to mention a great stress reliever.
I could never run on a treadmill but live in a beautiful area so that's not a problem. I think spinning would be like running on a treadmill. BTW, my better half ran the half marathon too, but i think she is retired now![]()
