I am with you DD. I can only wear leather or cloth. The plastic ones kill me! Hope you find some you love!
What else do you wear in leather?

Ok. I am a wuss.
Most of you probably wear flip flops most of the year. Me, not so much. I wait until the temps are at least 75. I can't help it, I have cold feet. But, when I do don them the first few times, they rub my toes raw in between my big toe and next toe. Eventually, I get toughened up, but...ouch. Am I the only one?![]()
I go barefoot at home year-round. When our dog sees me put shoes on, she gets into her crate because she knows I'm going somewhere.![]()
--I actually prefer to go barefoot EVERYWHERE! The house, the mailbox, the beach... sometimes, when I can get away with it, even the office!

Oh, you've said you love your pretty high heels.BR, my Rufus is the same way--he'll watch me getting dressed or changing clothes, and he's fine with until he sees me reach for a pair of shoes. Unfortunately, he's not as well trained as Pepper and, instead of going to a crate, he goes BERSERK!
Personally--although those of you who know me know that I LOVE me some SHOES! The higher the heel, the better!--I actually prefer to go barefoot EVERYWHERE! The house, the mailbox, the beach... sometimes, when I can get away with it, even the office!
I've always been that way--it was always a fight to keep shoes on me as a kid, and I've been roaming around Seagrove barefoot all my life. But, when I do wear 'em, I like Havianas. They come in lotsa pretty colors.
As far as the discomfort around the toes... well, hell. Have you SEEN some of the shoes I DO run around town in?![]()
I used to wear them all the time too -- one advantage of having a husband who is 6'10". But running killed my feet and my knees. Every time I walk by the shoe department at Neiman's, I drool at those beautiful shoes.
Back when I could wear heals, sometimes I'd kick them off for a quick trip from my office to the computer lab.
