Ok. I am a wuss.
Most of you probably wear flip flops most of the year. Me, not so much. I wait until the temps are at least 75. I can't help it, I have cold feet. But, when I do don them the first few times, they rub my toes raw in between my big toe and next toe. Eventually, I get toughened up, but...ouch. Am I the only one?:idontno:

Yes, if they are made of plastic/rubber type material. Look for leather or cloth.

:doh:Thanks! I do have some plastic/rubber ones that I like, but may have to give them up for comfort.

DD, I'm the same way - leather, cloth, plastic, strap configuration, $$, cheap, it doesn't matter.

Just wear yours around the house for a couple hours each day (instead of slippers or regular shoes) to get your feet used to them again.

And don't forget the pedicure!

Thank you.
Yeah, I try doing that, but inevitably I have to run to the store, throw them on and I'm limping by the time I get back.
Gotcha on the pedicure.

Target carries Mossimo flip-flops, which are cloth, with a wider strap and a thicker sole.....I usually buy two pairs to get me through the year (I'm no wuss; I wear them year-round!). They're usually in the $14 range per pair, which is somewhat reasonable IMHO.

Go barefoot, like the ancient neandertals that once densely populated the beaches of SoWal. No, wait, those were Spring Breakers.

Nevermind.
