Girlscout cookies anyone????

New posts
A reliable friend and girlscout leader just informed me that girlscouts are not allowed to sell on the internet for safety reasons - which makes sense - so apologies for posting this - when my daughter asked me I just said SURE without thinking and this is all very new to me as I am not american!
but you are not a Girl Scout.

HEY the sale is not supposed to start until officially tommorow. I told jen nay we should have started last week...:bang: :bang:
Oh really. :D Can you please explain the pm about pushing the cookies? :idontno: :floor::funn:

I am the reliable friend and I was just being paranoid and wanting to follow the rules. BUT when JohnR showed me this link.....I was floored!!!! So Best OF LUCK to Chickpeas daughter, Little IBD and JDarg's little one. I am sure the mama's are working hard for them.....:clap_1: :clap_1: Maybe we could sell them roadside like watermelons and oranges.....:floor:

I think we as adults are OK - but the girls are not allowed to set up websites themselves and/or solicit online. JohnR posted a link to Ebay on the other GS cookie thread- people are selling cookies on Ebay! If people you know pm or e-mail you for cookies, to me that is fine. And infinitely safer than our kids going door to door selling to strangers.

Just say the EBAY listings for Girl Scout Coookies. Shipping is $4.10 per box. The cookies are only $3.50 per box.

Have you three ladies (I mean girls) hit the Publix stores yet. There are three in the area. ;-) Based on location of your homes, I am assigning the PCB to you, InletBchDwllr. Chickybaby, you get the WaterColor Publix, and Jen-nay, you are assigned the Sandestin location of Publix.

Speaking of which, you may want to visit the State's website for sex offenders to discover who's door not to knock upon as you push the cookies.

I think SmileyJ gets a cookie patch for his efforts to organize us.

We will be selling cookies at a yet-to-be-determined location when the cookies are in- March, I think. This is pre-order time. The fun hasn't even really started yet.:rolling:

You can sell pre-orders at Publix, with their permission of course. Maybe permission = bribe of a free box of cookies for the nice manager.

I refuse to take Kate on door-to-door sales calls anyway. Good grief- she is only 5 years old. Talk about burning out a young salesperson at a young age!! However, she will help me deliver cookie orders and thank the buyers in person, which to me is the more valuable lesson at this age- showing gratitude and appreciation.

I think the sales hook is the table loaded with boxes, and lots of cute little girls standing there with the mothers and their big mouths.

Some people do buy the cookies to eat the cookies. However, there are many people who buy the cookies because the girls are too cute to turn down. You just cannot break a little girl's heart.

"Hey Mister," says the little Daisy Scout in a sad voice with a look of disappointment, "Do you really want to see me cry? :( You must buy my cookies or I will be very sad for the rest of the day."
