Got Icebergs in Northern MI

New posts
Holy Crap Tom!!! This is facinating to me. I never knew--or I guess never thought about it. Amazing.

Sorry....I hate to be that guy...but here goes...
these are beautiful pictures of iceburgs, but they are not in MI. Check snopes.

snopes.com: Antarctica Wave

Thanks for clearing this up, my source is now suspect & he drinks a lot:idontno:

I personally have seen the ice buildup along Lake Superior and it looked like a mountain of ice maybe 100' high along the shore, but I never crawled up on the ice. It was an amazing sight.

(I still like all the pictures!)

Agreed, I don't care where they are, gorgeous photos!

That snopes guy sure is a buzzkill. Now that I look closer I see the guy in the picture is actually a penguin.

Kurt,

I need to better pick my sources next time & listen to you guys:clap:Open mouth, insert foot.:sarc:

Anyway here is a photo I can verify with my own eyes. Big ELK in Hillman, MI & it's not a penguin;-)
