You guys are so great. Didn't go international but wish I had . sunshine and I have been without email since the day we left due to my mail server but finally got it resolved Thursday and drove back last night.

Have so much to catch up on. We have an assortment of Kongs. She hasn't been alone since I was working on the computer issue at my place and didn't leave the house.

We're on our way over to Grayton to paint her picture on the Dogs of Grayton wall. Will take a photo and hopefully get it posted.

Will catch up on everything this weekend and we'll see how the Kongs are going to do this upcoming week when I'm sure she's gonna have to tough it out without me a few time.

Sooooo glad to be back. It was a rough week and a half but all is well at the beach . Really missed you guys

Welcome back, Cork and Sunshine! We missed you. You have a lot to catch up on the boards. I'm glad to hear you have Kongs for Sunshine. Have you given her a treat in one of them yet? It's so funny to watch them work and work on it to get the treat out. My dog just skips thru the house with it in her mouth, it makes her so happy!

Great minds think alike. I just sent you an e asking where you were going to be catting around tonight. Where is Great Southern. Mom and Dad in town this afternoon so would love them to meet my sowal friends so count us in. 8PM! Where's it at?

MK, we haven't tried them yet but have the stuffing treats as well as the peanut butter cream that you squirt in them. Can't wait to try them. Gonna leave for Grayton in a few. Will keep you posted. Boy it's good to be back!

Yes, the cream. I have a feeling she's gonna love it. First try will be tonight! I didn't even notice but when I did the crate thing, apparently she was shoving her pointy little nose into the holes because her nose peeled for 3 days afterwards. She's her happy self again and she's gonna love meeting all the dogs at Grayton. Hope I get there in time

Hey Cork! This is so weird- I was just talking about you this morning. I spent an hour talking with a woman who has had 3 Cresteds. She is the mother of a good friend, and a serious dog person- has always had 3 or 4 dogs at a time, and a pet sitting business over the years too- I trust her judegement. Currently she has a Crested, a Mastiff, and 2 mixes.

I told her about your problem with leaving Sunshine. She immediately said that you need another dog. Apparently Cresteds cannot stand to be by themselves, and they are known for this trait. The same cute personality that makes them "scream with joy" when they see you is the same quality that makes them go absolutely beserk when you are not around. They are not bred for solitude!

So if the Kongs and behavior modification training don't work, you may be looking at gettng a friend for Sunshine. Good luck, and glad you are back- we missed you!

Cork!!! Audie and I have been so worried about you...we did not know why you vanished SO GLAD you are OK...and back in action!!! I even PM'd SJ to find out if he knew where you were...we were going to send out an APB!!!!
