What he said. And if that doesn't work, call the Sheriff's Office.John R said:Explain to them the situation with the dunes and natural vegetation. ask them not to ruin the dunes that you paid to renourish, with the justification that the dunes will be here for years if they're treated right. and it's illegal to run around on them.

BTW love your 'tar, Audie. I'm MAJOR p.o'ed with my mom and siblings right now, and your 'tar expresses my sentiments exactly.audie said:i was gonna stop one of the walton county trucks on the beach but wasn't sure if it was actually illegal, i figured they would just laugh at me.

Sueshore said:All kidding aside, what John R says is the truth. Many people just don't the rules. Usually what I would say is something like..."I know the signs are hard to see, but just so you know the dunes are off limits for walking." Help them out audie...I mean the dunes!
Beach Crazy said:That's what I would do to Kit Kat. You know kind of ask, "Is this your first time at the beach?" blah blah then get around to I wasn't sure if you had seen the sign they are hard to see.....
You can do it Audie girl:clap_1:
Paula said:If the place is a rental, then perhaps the rental agency's sign is on the place. You could call the agency and say they're being disruptive. I also think telling the owner of your rental what's going on would be useful because it sounds like this family could cost the owners future rentals. They could give you some advice perhaps. If the family actually owns the place, then there's probably not much you can do (except tell the beach patrol if they happen to be there when the family is on the beach) except stay somewhere else in the future. For now, probably best to enjoy the show (except for the illegal dune sliding).
