Kate has been in her own bed for quite awhile, but there are still setback events. She has asthma, so when she is sick, sometimes she is in bed with us so I can hear her breathe. Of course, when she feels better she wants to stay with us, and we have to have a few nights of "re-training". She also has a weird bug nightmare about once a month- she "sees" bugs all over her walls and bed and by the time all the lights are on and she is fully awake, she can't go back to sleep!
The point is this- you will get used to a full night's sleep, then BAM! Walker will wake up some night and scare the crap out of you - and your sleep will be disrupted for days 'cause now you are out of practice of waking up and going easily back to sleep!
