I am with you SJ - after living in Wyoming and Illinois most of my life - the snow pictures look pretty - but I don't want to live it anymore - when I see a picture of the beach - however - I am always picturing myself on it.

No snow in N Suburbs of Chicago yet today - though we still have a couple of inches on the ground from last Saturday.
I've been sitting here next to the window (working of course), waiting and waiting for all this snow we're supposed to get!!!! But, it's south of us (s. burbs and s. IL) I guess.

I think it's finally starting!! Yea!
I know you're not excited, but I am! (I wasn't born and reared up here, so that makes a difference.) I know you're sick of it!

Yeah - it is snowing in Mundelein now - oh well here comes another bad rush hour. Maybe I should leave early to head for home!! :clap_1:

I can't believe how fast it's coming down. It's so heavy it's like a whiteout when you're driving. The traffic going to my daughter's school never got above 15 mph, mostly on roads that have a 40 mph speed limit. It took forever! It was so cute, though, to see all these teenagers having huge snowball fights on the front yard of the school. My daughter was soaked to her skin. She's a sucker for a snowball fight.

The only thing we have like this down south is a muddy dirt clod fight.

Wow...what a great play by play...or maybe it's a flake by flake!!! Our loss is certainly y'all's gain!! It's turned out to be a cold but brilliantly sunny day here. Thanks for the gorgeous snow pics...pea, you have a darling pod!!!! Stay safe out there!

Yes! That's exactly how it was here. I told the bank teller it was just like when it's pouring rain, only it was snow!
