Hot Christmas Gifts 2005

New posts
It's easy to read a post out of context and misunderstand it. But it's hard to have the time to read all of the posts. Most of us knew Kimmi was kidding.

BTW I post to an "online community" for which membership is restricted. You join interest groups, and every day all of the posts for that interest group are emailed to you (text only and in a condensed format). It's really convenient because you don't have to spend a lot of time scrolling through all of the posts.

Just kidding Kimmifunn, trying to get her to come out of hiding. The two of us have PMed enough that I knew she was funning. In fact, I am looking forward to meeting her over the holidays. She's invited over for wine and good times.

Yes, we are still planning on Dec. 30. What is the New Year's? We are up for whatever, just need to know when and where. Thanks and sorry for any misunderstanding.

I give up!!!! This is like some mind game and I have lost my mind!

The newspaper this morning is PACKED with Christmas ads. Driving home last night, we saw 2 houses with outdoor lights, wreaths, etc. already up. Even a restaurant had wreaths in the window.

It seems a bit early....but then again we have a tree up without ornaments  -trying to keep the princess in a good mood.

I saw the full works Christmas decor on a local's house, two weeks before Halloween. I think they got confused on the holiday's time, or maybe they are hard core Santa Claus believers. Santa does have a strong following around here. :D

When I got back to Dallas a week ago, many people around here had already had the outdoor decorators male spawn do our decorations....I am cheap and in the end it is a source of pride for the boys!!!! The best part is when HMM has ms on the roof and ms yells down..."I need to get down and call CPS...this is child abuse!" Cracks me up everytime!

I am picturing HMM like HMM like Clark Griswold putting up the lights in "Christmas Vacation". :floor: Of course that means MS would have to be Russ Griswold!

Hey...you are not far off! That's funny!

All of my manly men refuse to do "outdoor illumination" and I'm too cheap to hire it done, so guess what I spend my Thankgiving Sat/Sun doing. I absolutely will NOT be the only house on the block with no "illumination", so I do it all myself. Mind you, I do not climb on the roof (I leave that up to St. Nick), but I have come up with some pretty creative displays if I do say so myself. So..........on that Sat/Sun, ya'll all think of me sweating my a$$ off stringing those lights!
