I found a wallet STUFFED with goodies

New posts
"Stuffed with goodies" made me think of George Costanza's wallet on Seinfeld! Did this guy complain of back pains from having to sit funny all the time

On a note of seriousness, may I say you are what we all strive to be but often we fall by the wayside. You certainly didn't and are to be congratulated and revered.

Wow, Andy. That's really too kind. But what a nice thing to say.

I've met some really nice people over the past few days. A family offered me to come up to their room tonight to play cards and hang out. Very nice of them. I've been talking to some others who are very interesting and fun to be around. It's been great. I love good people.

Unfortunately, I can be shy, even though when I open up, people say they could never invision me as shy. But meeting good people is one of the greatest gifts in life.

But I am far from what I'd like to be as a person. Well, not real far. But... Even with the wallet. I stick to a pretty strict budget and every spending decision is met with great oversight. So believe me, that money in the wallet looked exceptionally green. I know most wallets that are found, even if the person never touches the credit cards or things like that, they take the cash. It's almost an accepted thing. I guess that's why the guy told his friend, 'If they have money left in the wallet, he can have it'.

But you know, when I was on the beach today, after snorkeling, and having some great conversation with some pretty special people, that money in the wallet was the last thing on my mind. The people's kids, who I gave some neat shells to, they were on my mind. Their parents vacationing here who had some interestig stories, they were on my mind. And two ladies I spent time with today, one from France, they were on my mind.

And not once did I have to think about the guy who I stole money from and how he was feeling :D

I don't mean disrespect by hijacking, but the funniest was when he (Costanza) picked up the hot chick and they went to a hotel room. She tied him to the bed posts and robbed him. All he had was $8 - :floor::floor: She was livid and stole his clothes!

Wow, why does that scenerio sound so appealing to me right about now

nice work mike!

Mike, you are truly a breath of fresh air on this board. Please do not stop posting.

been away for awhile ----sometimes lurking ---- but what a great story ---- Mike sounds like a character out of a book I once read -----Way to go Mike ----

A true indication of your character is what you do when no one else sees you.

Amen...the ultimate test.

Great story, Mike...would it not be wonderful if this story was the norm?
