Knitting Classes?

New posts
Yes, we can trade demostrations! I also have a CD-Rom that I used to teach myself. Simply reading wasn't working.

I have some samples from Oz Yarn... they are beautiful! But I didn't want to order from Australia until I could knit decently enough to splurge.

BTW, I just talked to my expert knitting friend back in GA (who happens to be Italian) and they are visiting for Spring Break! I think she blushed over the phone when I told her I mentioned her on here. She knit beautiful hats & socks for my girls last Christmas.

Organicmama, have you looked at EBay for yarns? One of my friends knits me scarves and she gets incredibly beautiful wools from all over the world by bidding on EBay.

No, but I am now back in the gym regularly.
I started drawing as another past-time.

I'd say that's a worthy pastime. I just bought myself a new sketchbook.:clap_1:

I have to admit to never bought nor sold on EBay. I was registered, once upon a time, but never got around to it. :idontno:

Also the Etsy site, which is a wonderful site for handmade goods and materials for making them!

Bumping us back up and wondering if we are a go, as I sit here drinking my glass of wine and stitching cool sequined flowers on Zoe's jeans, enjoying the quiet solitude of everyone being ASLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!

AND, I bought funky, chunky chenille yarn for a blanket for her the other day. It's gonna look cool after I am done but it is a PITA to work with. It's gonna take a while...:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

Right now, we are a no-go. I can send you a hat recipe which I used when I first began making hats, and I can help you work through it, but classes with me as the instructor are on hold.
