Leftovers: The Great Debate

So, I ate turkey and dressing with a bit of cranberry last night (again) and it made me wonder....HOW MUCH LONGER DO WE EAT THIS?? It's been almost a week....when do you just throw it out? Do I actually try one of those skeery leftover recipes....Turkey a la King, Creamed Turkey on Toast or maybe Turkey Hash? Any ideas?

Jump the turkey ship!!!! We have gone into the "anti-turkey" mode. Jamaican jerk burgers on the grill Saturday night. Ate out Mexican Sunday (Feliz Navidad!). Cooked Indian Monday night (and the house still stinks). Maybe I would have eaten more turkey, but my mom hogged the leftovers!

Today is my last turkey meal...a turkey sandwich for breakfast. My mother made some amazing turkey gumbo with some of the leftovers......need another bowl It was so good since it is too cold here....the wind is brutal.

I'll probably cook a turkey this weekend - I do this every year because we never get enough turkey leftovers. Not all the sides though.

I was ready to toss on garbage night (Monday) but since GB is the cheap... er... most frugal woman I know we are still eating them.

I finished off the last of the cranberry sauce last night. But now you have me thinking that there might be some glazed carrots gone AWOL in the back of the fridge. I think those will definitely get the toss!
