Leftovers: The Great Debate

Did you ever try dippin' it in egg then flour and fryin' it? Kinda makes you feel like your killin' any skeery stuff, and of course its yummy if its fried-you can always use canola or evoo. We've got just a little left but two dogs that can help too so it's easy for me to get rid of without wasting. Know any dogs?.....that are worthy of your turkey, that is...

Thanks...that's all the advice I need!!! I will eat ONE more snadwich today and then toss it!!!! Ditto on the warmed up turkey...I did it once when I was nuking the dressing and almost passed out from the taste!!!!

Yeah...we called them that as well. I just noticed how well I botched sandwich in my post!!! I think way faster than I can type!!!

So, I ate turkey and dressing with a bit of cranberry last night (again) and it made me wonder....HOW MUCH LONGER DO WE EAT THIS?? It's been almost a week....when do you just throw it out? Do I actually try one of those skeery leftover recipes....Turkey a la King, Creamed Turkey on Toast or maybe Turkey Hash? Any ideas?

sara82....you really should have taken some of these leftovers! What were we thinking??? Hurry over and have a sandwich! XOX

:rofl: I had to throw it all out..... I was too skeered after 2 days!!!! My 9 year old daughter loooooves pumpkin pie so everyone and I mean everyone made her one.... we came home with 4 pumpkin pies! plus a pumpkin cheesecake! I don't think she'll miss the 3 I tossed (yes.... I had a taste test)! The cheesecake is in the freezer!

the walton sun had a bunch of left over turkey recipes. i wouldn't have made them but they didn't sound all that bad.

Ding Dong the turkey's dead!!! Thrown out today!!! Molly and I had one last bit for lunch yesterday and HMM and I went out for some good Tex-Mex last night!
