WTF!!! (self explanatory)

IWHHPIIWY (iwouldn't have hit post if i were you)

PUI (again, self explanatory)

MBNE-M (messege board, not e-mail)

WWYT (what were you thinking) if you'd like to be nicer that WTF

If I had to choose between having "thanks" and "like", I would say "thanks" is superior. For example, what if someone posts "My goldfish died." I would not want to "like" that, but I might want to "thank" them for the update.

"Like" = funny or enjoyable.
"Thanks" = educational, agreement, or simply thx for answering my question.

good points. I think I could live with "like" in the lounge. since the lounge is thankless for some reason.

I love thanking everyone for the tiniest reason. it just feels good. but it does make me forget about repping which is really more personal and MK reminds us that its a good way to give a personal message! We need to rep each other!!!
