I've heard great things about the latex mattresses and Thermapedic, but I've also heard if you have night sweats, these mattresses make it even worse!
A good pillow topper on top takes care of that. Never had any problems with that, even when I was sick for all of November.

Sleep number beds are just air mattresses, right?

And yes, LL, mattress salesmen are definitely pretty low on the food chain. My friend was out of there in a couple weeks. (tangent: Not as bad as my friend who actually sold Lowry organs in the mall to old ladies. Talk about a racket, I practically cried when I heard what they did to entice those women to buy those things. so sad how people take advantage of nice people. /end tangent.)

When we bought ours, we picked it out and they loaded it up in the truck. When I looked at it sitting in the truck, I noticed it wasn't the one we chose. The guy said, "Oh, well we were out of stock for that particular mattress so we gave you the competitor's equivalent." Is that even legal to do that?

I left that mattress sitting on their loading dock and went to another place.

Find a place that will let you exchange after a couple of weeks of test driving. Exchange as many as you have to to get one you like.

We entertain ourselves by riding dirt roads on a Sunday afternoon. And no, I'm not kidding. I'll bet you a dollar Kimmifunn and the girls know how to do it.

Not as funny as you might think. I was in Fort Walton several years back, when we lived in Freeport and before we had our truck, trying to buy a mattress for our son's bed. When I inquired about delivery, the salesperson at TWO DIFFERENT STORES said something along the lines of "you live in Freeport, you can't borrow a truck?"

Talk about profiling...

I don't even want to know what happens to the mattresses that are exchanged back at the stores that allow this!

Do you ride these dirt roads on a dirt bike? Back in my younger days, the dirt roads were made for parking, what are you doing?

Riding in either a pickup, horse, or one of these.
