We are the firm bed/pillow top group. But Mermaid, when we first got it 3 years ago, it was a pain to find fitted sheets with deep enough pockets. It is much easier now.

Instead of flipping, we spin it around.

Clark Howard suggests that you buy mattresses at the big box discount stores, eg- costco, sam's club.

--However, he is a bit on the cheap side.
