Miss Kitty's Kountdown

New posts
This is it sowal fans. My last week here. Don't be sad...I'm not, because I am kayaking on the River DeNile!!!

So, here's the deal. How about y'all start suggesting things I should do my last days here...other than starting the job of closing up. I would like to go kayaking again, but need a partner. Mr. K must love me, because he agreed a solo trip might not be a good idea!!! I have some funn plans today....meeting josebby and thompsebby this afternoon. Have funn dinner plans tomorrow night.

What else????

P.S. after last night, my liver needs a breakie!!!

Hmmmmm...go charter boat fishing or take a sunset cruise on one of the sailboats from the Destin harbor.....go to Shell Island via a shuttle boat and look for shells, very peaceful and beautiful area. During the week is not normally crowded. Hope this helps and have a great time this week! :clap_1:

Miss Kitty,

I'm not trying to stalk you, but what are your funn plans for dinner tomorrow night? The reason I'm asking is my trip to Sowal is next month, and I'm already trying to figure out where to go for dinner the last night, to have some big funn on my last night!

Most of my favorite things at Sowal involve drinking in public as well as private, and sitting my butt in a chair on the beach, under an umbrella. Your liver has its limits and I understand, but how much time have you parked it on the beach?

Absolutely! Every year, when I get home, I always wish I would have spent more time on the beach, if it was possible. It is the single most relaxing part of my trip, and I look forward to this trip all year long!

Do what I've always wanted to do - ride the bike paths from one end of 30-A to the other.

Beach Runner, we'd be lucky if we got Miss Kitty to ride from one end of WaterColor to the other, let alone one end of 30-A to the other. In fact, that's what I was going to suggest to Miss Kitty: that she take her bike out and explore her own neighborhood. Something tells me she hasn't done it yet. ;-)

And for goodness sakes, Miss Kitty, the lake water has warmed up significantly. I think it's time you take another dip. Kayak away, hooray!

LOLOL. I know. She's too social to waste time biking that long - hard to carry on a conversation while biking, as opposed to kayaking where you're to to someone to talk to (assuming a kayak for two).

you must do this for me - sit on the beach in the sun from 8-11 or so, under the umbrella from 11-4 ish. go out to eat, on the way home stop for a blue raspberry shaved ice at miss lucilles gossip parlor then come home sit outside for a bit, then off to bed. aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh the perfect day.

I dunno about that, BR. Kitty was carrying on a conversation with me when she tipped her kayak into the lake!!

On a side note, biking can be very sociable--Seaside is where I learned to bike with a gin and tonic in hand--biking, talking, and sipping at the same time! That's the best multi-tasking I ever did. ;-)
