... for my sister-in-law. Her birthday is Thursday so I would have to mail it Monday. She is recently widowed, is living with her mom outside New Orleans and taking care of her two little kids. I'd like to get her something that will brighten her day. She didn't get any presents on Mother's Day because her children are small, her husband is gone and apparently no one else thought to get her anything, including us.
I don't want to do something exceedingly practical, just something that will make her smile. But what? She is in her late '30s and doesn't get much time to herself, though she does enjoy going out with her friends since her mom can watch the kids in the evening. She is not working right now. She plans to go back to school but won't start until January at least. Any ideas?

Wish we could take her out to dinner and then out for some funn. But I know her girlfriends will be taking care of her. :clap_1:
