Rescue Me is SOOO good! It's about these NYC firemen and all the people in their lives. Tommy is the lead character, played by Dennis Leary. He's an alcoholic fireman who's currently not drinking anymore. He's in love with his wife but their marriage is shaky. The firechief's wife has Alzheimer's and that's been a sad plotline, very sensitively done. And then there are the other guys on the crew--the dumb hunky ones, the stud, the lone female firefighter, and all the friends and family they interact with.
I like Rescue Me because it's perfect tragicomedy. Every time something really horrible happens, there's a this little ray of black comedy that cracks you up. Dennis Leary is expert at this role. It reminds me off all those great dramas they used to have on TV, like Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere.

Poor Julia(Sean's wife): she's been begging Sean for a divorce and now that he's opened his eyes, she's saddened about it! Waa Waa! :roll: :roll:
Sean had been called to the obese woman's home, by authorities. The stinch and overall nastiness, was apparent to all! Her reason for staying in that same place for 3 yrs., was her psiatica! She didn't even get up to go to the bathroom, if ya get my drift! Her name was Momma and though her body "attaching" to the sofa was groce, it was interesting! It did seem that both Christian and Sean, learned life lessons from her.
The investigator on Christian's case, was sexy, to say the least! I couldn't believe that I was seeing that, even on cable! Betcha she's around awhile, too! She's "having" fun with Christian and Kimber walks in! Kimber say, "you ask me to marry you, now this". He responds, "Baby, it's me, I'm back" Then, he extends his hand to hers and they then have a threesome, to play!
Kimber's a little too whining and boring to me. She's fed up with Christian and his lack of interest. After his attack and rape by a male, not much concerns him! So, when she starts to leave hime, he proposes. She knows it's not sincere and leaves.
I love a great diversion! Yep, I'm addicted now! Guess some of us can have a more exciting and crazier life, thru these stories, huh? :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:
