so what you are saying toots is that you are giving in to peer pressure, re the ornament exchange ?
exactly!!! I was hoping you biotches would forget about the ornament exchange idea and we could just do an online christmas party. but nooooooooo...
actually, I'm starting to think about an ornament and get excited about what effed up ornmanet I'm going to make and send some poor sowal bat turd. how 'bout a nice aluminum pie tin with a sowal sticker in the middle of it, with lots of glitter around it (front and back), and a gob of tinsel hanging from the bottom? big red bow on top. I'll even add a fish hook to the top so it can hang from the tree.
see how easy that was otter-baby?
Actually I did think maybe SJ would join in.

....are you a closet crafter ?
god i hope you get my name in the exchange !!! i'll bet you are just saying that and your ornament will be sweet and cute and perfect and belong in a museum....are you a closet crafter ?
audie!!! you guessed!!! I'm so embarrassed!! actually, I do like crafts, for kids. I don't do adult crafts. ever. for halloween I went into spidey's class and worked with the kids on making really funn bats and cats and ghosts and spiders. I provided the basic shapes/cut outs, and tons of materials for them to choose from to make their own creations (buttons, pipe cleaner, boa strips, ribbon, markers, eyeballs, etc.). They put together the most creative and wonderful creations. so YES, I'm a closet kid crafter. Here are some easy ideas for the boys:
A beer can with a SoWal sticker slapped on the side.
Cut out a cardboard Christmas Tree, and glue Cheezits to it for ornaments, tie with a red or green ribbon.
Draw an angel, cut it out, add balloons for boobies.
Cut out a picture of a really cool boat, glue it on cardboard, add a hanger.
Money or a lottery ticket in a plain white envelope- always appropriate. (Draw my name please)
