Pilates or Yoga?

New posts
My yoga instructor includes pilates exercises within her yoga class because the toning & strengthening of pilates work is suppose to be very supportive of yoga. (this makes sense, but many of the yoga students would prefer to stick with yoga)

Yoga is a great for the body and mind, like meditation in motion. I find that if I get into a good yoga practice, then I become motivated to live healthier in other ways in my life (food choices, etc).

Pilates is a great toning/strengthening floor exercise - I don't really like it because its hard work! but I'll do it because it makes sense and it works.

Two totally different exercises!
