My first Yoga class was an intermediate level, but I found it to be more like advanced. Even though the instructor was telling us to only go as far as we felt comfortable, I pushed it a bit too much, and thought that was the most painful class I had ever taken. For a while, I wrote off Yoga. However, I found a beginning Yoga book from long ago, that was tucked away at my mom's house. I grabbed it, and began practicing at my own pace in my own place, and found it to be a joy. I haven't practiced it much lately, but I am about to begin again. I truely miss it.

I have no knowledge of Pilates.
