Prayers and cards

New posts
Hi everyone

Thank you so much SoWal community for sending cards and praying for our nephew. We traveled to Miami for Christmas and found Joey's health declining rapidly. On Dec. 23 he passed away with both his mother and father by his side holding his hands.
Christmas was emotional, yet beautiful and his service drew probably 250-300 people. That was a blessing for his family.
Please continue to keep his mom and dad (and siblings) in your prayers as they try to learn how to go on without him.
God bless.

Susan, so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and his family in my prayers.

So many questions that can only be answered through faith. I am so very sorry for the immense loss being felt be all who loved Joey. May you all be strengthened and uplifted by God's love. May you be comforted by these words from Marianne Williamson (paraphrasing) , "Birth is not a beginning, but a continuation. Death is not an end, but a continuation. We are all eternal spirits in God. What God has brought together in love, no man and no thing - even death- can put asunder." You will certainly be re-united.

I wish you peace.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers continue for you and your family. I hope the cards that did arrive were some comfort to Joey and his family.

May you and your whole family find, in short order, inner peace during this difficult period.

Thinking of you and yours, Susan. Words are inadaquate at a time like this, but they are all we have to comfort one another! I hope he got the cards and understood that he had people pulling for him.

Susan, I am so very sorry. I did not realize your nephew had passed away. May comfort come to you and your family, somehow, someway.
