I can't believe Obama jacked around for over 2 minutes before addressing the events that took place at Fort Hood that day. It was an absolutely disgusting display.

This doesn't play second fiddle to shout outs and thanking your staff. In the respect these men and women in uniform deserve, you open your speech with it, and attempt to console the families of the fallen, the wounded and the nation. You don't have to go into details in this situation in your attempt to at least act like a President.

It's all perspective I guess - I would have found it much more offensive if he had talked about Ft. Hood, then switched gears back to policy.
