Racist Anti-Mosquers

[LuciferSam]

You're against a behavioral charactaristic? it's not a democrat or republican viewpoint, it's psychology. You don't know me. Don't label me.

The term ?mob mentality? is used to refer to unique behavioral characteristics which emerge when people are in large groups. It is sometimes used disparagingly, as the term ?mob? typically conjures up an image of a disorganized, aggressive, panicked group of people. Social psychologists who study group behavior tend to prefer terms like ?herd behavior? or ?crowd hysteria.? The study of mob mentality is quite fascinating, and it is used to analyze situations which range from evacuations gone awry to the moment when demonstrations turn violent.

Rationalize, rationalize, rationalize.

[Lynnie]

Rationalize, rationalize, rationalize.

Rationalize, rationalize, rationalize.

Projection 101? Textbook.

However, to give this concept credence, the right rationalizes profiling and the left can't let racism go....perpetuating it and rationalizing it as well. If there is an issue, the left is the first to cry racism. If you don't see it, that's ok, Lucifer.

Someone mentioned this on another thread - Islam is not a race. So how could these people be racists? Antiislamist maybe. But hey, we have antichristians on the board, are you equally embarrassed by them?

Name one.

[Lynnie]

Name one.

Valid inquiry. We have self-professed atheists on this message board (you and LuciferSam), but that does not mean you are antichristians. There could be more. From some posts of the atheists, one can deduce a certain displeasure, anger toward and lack of respect toward Christians, however.....giving pause and making others believe you are indeed antichristians.

And, Islam isn't a race. Neither is it a Nation as many make reference to Islam Nation / Muslim Nation.

I'm sorry, but I need to clear something up. What you see in that video is NOT racism. It's bigotry. As I've posted before, people need to relearn what racism is...

A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, irrationality, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs. The predominant usage in modern American English refers to persons hostile to those of differing race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation and religion.

Racism is the belief that the genetic factors which constitute race are a primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

Regardless...they are showing their collective arses and are showing their true colors.

"A man walks through the crowd at the Ground Zero protest and is mistaken as a Muslim. The crowd turns on him and confronts him. The man in the blue hard hat calls him a coward and tries to fight him. The tall man who I think was one of the organizers tried to get between the two men. Later I caught up with the man who's name is Kenny. He is a Union carpenter who works at Ground Zero. We discussed what a scary moment that was for him. I told him that I hoped it did not ruin his day."

I say even if he was a Muslim so what? Should Muslims not take a stroll in the vicinity of "GZ" as some (not me) like to call it? What a bunch of despicable morons!

First of all, this video looks so obviously orchestrated by the media that it is a joke. Why would you call people despicable morons who are peacefully protesting? They have their rights as American citizens to do such.

At least they didn't throw a Koran at him, then burn him at the stake, unlike what happened to 8 Christians and their families in Pakistan last year around this time.
Eight Christians burnt to death in Pakistan after Koran is ‘defiled’ - Times Online

Is this Board so far Left that no one can understand just a shade of how these people feel?? Personally, I don't take issue with the Islamic Community Center, but those who do are just giving more credit to that which they despise.

Yes, it is!

Don't blame me just because you you give unbridled support to maladaptive behavioral traits. Blame it on the Stockholm Syndrome.

Now you're just reaching. I never said i supported their behavior. Carry on .

They threatened him with physical violence simply for being a human being. Mob mentality, which it seems has snared many on this board, is no excuse. This is absolutely shameful behavior.

Too late for me to edit the thread title, but that doesn't radically alter my view of this mob. I stick with the moron label, although they might be idiots or imbeciles, I'm not too sure.
