no photos - my camera is not working so well, and I am going to have to get a new one soon. It has served me well, and I have gotten my money's worth out of it.

Saw Jfunn and met WhiteyFunn and Seagrover. I think the Funns spike the water at their station :floor:.
Those are my girls! :clap_1: Lord knows they were probably pretty stationary through the entire race. Funns don't move fast...unless they are trying to hunt someone down. Or if a drink is about to fall.

Kimmi....you are so Kute!

SJ...I hope you still have your running shoes on.....

RUN and GO BUY a CAMERA....HURRY!!!!! ;-)

I'll buy a lottery ticket this week and if I win, I'll buy a house from you. Or I'll just buy ya a camera. The jackpot is not very high, so i may need to watch my money.:floor:

Are you trying to start a sowal revolution here? No SJ pics? If we listen to SHELLY, it might be years before you get a camera. When I get down there in April, jfunn, Mermaid and I will have a funnraiser for you. Or maybe we will just start taking donations right now!!!

Yes, the day could have not have been more perfect for a great run.

So, I wasn't calling time - I was a traffic cop at W. Ruskin Steet. Oh, the feel of power!!! :funn:

Great to meet you Smiling Joe - a legend in itself!!!

I don't think the Funns spiked their water they gave out but since I wasn't there to vouch for them, they could have!!! They did win the prize for "passing out the best water" or something like that. Look for their upcoming pic in the Walton Sun.

Did anyone else see Danny Bonaduce? Either it was him or his identical twin. We saw him at Borago Saturday night and thought it was him & also saw him running in the long race - then Jfunn says she saw Danny Bonaduce in the half marathon - must have been him!!!

I didn't have the best race out there, but a bad day running still beats a lot of good days doing something else. Thanks to all the volunteers! :clap_1:

Overall, a very well run race, but a couple of small quibbles- the aid station near Goatfeathers seemed to squish everyone into a very narrow area, and I hit it during peak race traffic of sorts and darn near got run over by a woman going the other way with barely any room for us to dodge each other. It's also at the point where they've got enough runners it would be nice for them to go to a chip timing system. Took me a good minute to get across the start line, and I would have liked to have an official chip time to go along with gun time.
