Yes, the day could have not have been more perfect for a great run.

So, I wasn't calling time - I was a traffic cop at W. Ruskin Steet. Oh, the feel of power!!! :funn:

I don't think the Funns spiked their water they gave out but since I wasn't there to vouch for them, they could have!!! They did win the prize for "passing out the best water" or something like that. Look for their upcoming pic in the Walton Sun.

Did anyone else see Danny Bonaduce? Either it was him or his identical twin. We saw him at Borago Saturday night and thought it was him & also saw him running in the long race - then Jfunn says she saw Danny Bonaduce in the half marathon - must have been him!!!

I thought Danny Bonaduce had pretty much killed himself with heroin! He must have one helluva trainer to bring him back from that to a running race!!!

at a glance, I don't see any info that would indicate that Danny could do much more than crawl to the bathroom!!

That guy did look similar to Danny, but I don't recall Danny being nearly as tall. That guy in the race was probably 6'5" tall.

From the golf cart he looked about 5'7". And he looked heroine chic.

Sorry I did not see you....to busy trying to breathe. Kudos to the organizers and volunteers of the race. :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1: My daughter and I did the 5K and had a really good time. Time not spectacualr, but we weren't concerned. We both agreed to the race again next year. Again thanks to all for the hard work for a good cause.

I was working the registration desk as a volunteer and helped the Danny Bonaduce look-a-like...close but not the real deal!
