I guess they're waiting until he hits 5 pounds, or at least that's what they did when my child was born at 36 weeks.

Same here with another premie born in June (Gemini). 5#, and that girl, though she struggled a bit and caused many scares, is doing great, and blew past 5 # with no problem.

Yep!!!! I may need instructions. I had no idea babies required so much stuff. If you go to the Babies 'r Us at 10 am on Thursday. That's when all the first time Grana's are wandering aimlessly with gift registary in hand, looking like they just landed on a planet outside the solar system. Asking "WTF is this thing used for?" :floor:

It's almost entertaining.:funn:

I think you have to go online to print the instructions for Grandchildren. :funn:I hear the instruction book consists of about 19,000 pages, so make sure you have plenty of ink in the printer. The Cliff Notes are only a few paragraphs. I think step no. 1 in the Cliff Notes is put the kid in youth Small tee-shirt until he is 6 yrs old, and forget the diapers, they just cost money. Let him pee and poo outside with the dogs. :D Step no. 2 is register him on SoWal.com :floor:

Wish I'd known about this sooner. We purchased a stroller that cost more than my first car! I'm stocking up on small tee-shirts though! :funn:
