We're going to be moving to SoWal this summer if all goes well....(

) so I'm thinking ahead here...
I have two girls 10 and 12, who play softball and volleyball.... other than their making the middle school teams, are there any local parks that have rec leagues for kids in the SoWal or surrounding areas, or am I going to need to look for club teams?
One of my girls also plays golf; are there any public courses around that I can take her to that won't break my (admittedly meager) bank? Giving up the country club membership, at least for a while, is one of the sacrifices we'll be making to move to SoWal...

but then, when you see the girls playing and having fun and learning, it's all worth it.
