surfs up?

Is is me, or does it appear on the Blue Mountain Cam that the surf has come in pretty close? Not as wide of area for sand as their usually is. Oh how i wish i was there.

WOW, i would love to see some surfers. I also read on his website about the jellies stinging. We were there for a month in June and we couldnt get in water then because of them. And it has been bad since. Wonder why for the whole summer it has been really bad?

For those that are fortunate to live at the beach, i am jealous. Have a great day everyone!!!

I was there for a week in July and I didn't see one jellyfish. I was in the ocean everday!!!!

I did go to St Andrews and got in for about an hr til everyone started saying they were seeing jellies. I had a bad reaction to a sting many years ago and are terrified of them. Thennnnnnn i tried again the end of the month and one stung my friend, so nope i was a pool-aholic the rest of the time. LOL!! Now i am not saying i didnt go to the beach. I did and i got my toes wet, but not up to my waist.

i've been out all summer...and have not gotten a sting...the occasional tingle in heavy seaweed...but today was unreal...and no stings...

Honestly, I have seen more sharks and alligators than jellyfish this summer!! Kate had a minor sting a few weeks ago (minor, as in she got right back in the water and forgot about it), and what somebody called sea nettles were a little irritating back in June, but that is it. And we are at the beach alot.
