Hey funn girls...we haven't even made it through Christmas or New Year's yet and you are already talking about St. Patty's. Oh to be young and free!!!

That's what I was thinking too! They need to designate some new holidays for you gulls! (Or maybe you create your own? ;-) )

Where do you girls do the St Pat party? Savannah? That was such a blast when I was in college..many, many moons ago! :( I know I couldn't hang now!!
Oh yeah...Savannah. We had a crew go last year and it was sheer insanity. The pictures are forever locked away. Hopefully none of us never run for public office. It was so much funn! It's also J-Funn's b'day so we try to make it a double doozie. J-Funn was actually featured in the Savannah paper because she had a leprauchan hanging off of her beer! :clap_1:

Savannah is one of my favorite places to visit..but St Patty's is so crowded I don't think I could handle it. Great place to play any time of the year! Back in the old college days St. Patrick's Day always fell during final exam time. A group of us were lucky enough to finish up and head to Savannah for the big day. A friend of ours however had not taken all the exams but decided partying was more important so off he goes. Needless to say the local tv reporters were everywhere and got some great coverage of our friend partying away. His parents, of course, saw the whole thing on the evening news that night. We never heard back from him again at Georgia Southern.

Our daughter and her husband graduated from Southern. I used to take Fridays off and "go visit the daughter" at college. Statesboro.......River Street, it's almost the same thing!
