Suspect in JonBenet murder arrested

Breaking news on the murder of JonBenet on CBS. A 2nd grade teacher from Boulder was arrested in Thailand on unrelated sex charges. He gave authorities info that had never been released to the public....amazing that her mother died in June. Heartbreaking.

I also heard on the news that Patsy knew of the investigation in Bangkok before she died in June, so there was some comfort in knowing the possibility of finding the murderer.

I am glad to hear that, Johnrudy. A local Denver radio personality, Peter Boyles, seemed to make it his life's work to have the Ramseys convicted of the murder of their daughter. It became trial by public opinion.
Of course, everyone is innocent until found guilty, including this latest person who was arrested, but I wonder what Boyles' statement on this arrest might be.
I thought those beauty pageants rather sickening, but still. It's not like Patsy murdered her own daughter.

Well, my initial thought was not her mother, but maybe her brother. Her with all the attention from her parents was bound to have made him jealous. But then again, wasn't he around 13??? Not that it mattered.

I did not know her mother had died. I just hope there is some sort of closure to this horrible crime soon and that maybe then JonBenet can rest in peace.

I think she died of some type of cancer, maybe ovarian cancer.

The suspect sounds wacko. I wonder if he is just a nut-case who "identifies" with this murder?
Karr also told the AP he contacted JonBenet's mother, Patsy Ramsey, before her death in June and that he wrote her letters about "many things." He said he hoped that she received the letters.
Suspect confesses
Karr's ex-wife says he was with her in Alabama at the time of the murder. Hopefully DNA testing will resolve this.

He also has 3 sons. I can not imagine what they will be going through.
