No, but the day ain't over yet. I was, however, putzing around on Little Redfish Lake, and noticed septic styrofoam pellets, probably from the adjacent subdivision of Gulf Trace. Near the outflow to the Gulf, I also noticed a stinky smell of sewage. Lost a Birkenstock in the muck due to heavily eroded buckles on the strap. That is some nasty muck out there.

You know you're a true beachbum when your birkenstock actually falls off your foot due to corrosion of the buckles. :D
 
Back to cooking my daughter's recipe for the Tuscan dish, sugo finto. Me to self, "GET OFF THE BOARD!"

Okay - I can still edit. Dinner was awesome with the vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh Italian parsley, and basil from the garden.

I think someone at the Sheriff's sub-station will soon be wondering what is causing the odor in their trashcan. As Michael Jordan says, "it's the shoes!"
