ITA!! I don't really have any gross stories other than the one time my dog ate a box of Frango mint chocolates. Oh, that was a mess to clean up but it didn't smell bad..it smelled like mint! Now if we were talking about most embarrasing moments..that would be a good one. I could probably top anyones. But we won't go there.

Sounds like it is time for a new thread entitled, Your Most Embarassing Moments...

I'm so sorry. I just read the rest of these posts and realized this is a thread about gross animal stories!!! Boy, am I embarrassed. I guess I've learned a lesson - - think BEFORE you post!!)

This thread is totally about anything. Just try to top the previous story. So far, I think that is being done as I am LMAO.

KimmiFunn, that is disgusting -- A great story but disgusting. :funn:

We had a beagle one time who must have ingested, or eaten a piece of jute rope in the yard. I looked out my kitchen window and the dog had about 8 inches of rope hanging out of his butt. He apparently couldn't get it out naturally and was trying to reach around to get it with his mouth. No luck. So I'm the one who had the pleasure of putting on a pair of gloves and pulling it out of the dog's butt!!

My great grandmother had Alzheimer's and spent her last years in the house of a private caregiver...Often, they had her ride a stationery bike for exercise (as if there is another reason, duh) but one day she told them she wouldn't. When questioned, she simply responded that it hurt her penis.

Her daughter, my grandmother, had a mini stroke a few years ago. My aunt went with her for a checkup. Grandma was able to easily answer a few questions...And when faced with one she couldn't answer, she turned to my aunt and told her, don't you need to leave? My aunt said, no. She said, yeah you do, you need to go home and shave your hairy a$$. Well, to that my aunt simply replied, Sorry Ma. Did that yesterday.

What do I have to look forward to??

Similar situation. Years ago I went to the grocery store, got home and put all the groceries on the counter. Got distracted doing something (ADD). Im sorry what was I talking about?..Oh yeah left the room for about 15 minutes, came back and put all the groceries away. About a day later I was looking all over for the loaf of bread I could have sworn I bought the day before. Checked the frig, the cabinets, knew the dog didn?t get it because there wasn?t and left over anywhere. I was wrong?about that time I look out of the window and saw the dog going in circles chasing her tail but it looked like she had stepped on a piece of plastic that was stuck to her foot. When I went outside to help her I found out that it was a plastic bag with writing on it that clearly was the loaf of bread bag I was looking for. I also found that it was NOT stuck to her foot. She was thankful for the assistance I was able to provide since she didn?t have opposable thumbs. She never ate a loaf of bread in the bag off the counter again. There were several time later that I found she learned how to take the bread out of the bag.
I have since learned not to put the bread on the counter.

So, I am standing in my kitchen cooking a mouth-watering meatloaf for my ex-husband, myself and a friend of mine. I had all the ingredients in a big bowl, and I was going to town mixing that meat mixture up with my hands (the only way to truly mix up a meat loaf). Anyway, I am really getting into it, had my hands up to my wrists in meatloaf. I got it all mixed up and put it in the pan to cook. About an hour later it was ready to serve.

Did I mention the fact the earlier that day, I had smashed my thumbs in a huge printer at work? I had band aides on both of thumbs. Well, I DID have band aides on both of my thumbs. I will get to that in a minute.

So, we all sit down for a delicious dinner of meatloaf that I had prepared so lovingly. My ex takes a big bite out of that meatloaf, and at the exact same time I look down and realize the band aides are gone from my thumbs. He said at the exact time I realized the band aides are gone ?What the HE** is this in the meatloaf?????? ?OH, that is what happened to the missing band aides I say?.

Well, needless to say, my friend and I started laughing so hard. He was NOT laughing, he was beginning to be sick. I apologized, and told him it was an accident. He didn?t buy it. Oh, well. Perhaps that is why he felt the need to get him a girlfriend. I promise it was an accident.

My mother tends to confuse her words and has for years. At a family dinner, we were discussing automotive woes, and she told of a time when a nice man
"jerked off" her car when it would not start. I can still see my dad trying to control the laughter...the rest of us were not as kind.

My father was like that and one time he was returning a pair of pajamas to a store. They had been a gift and he thought they were women's pajamas. The clerk explained to him that the pajamas could be for either a male or a female. He then proceeded to tell her (and everyone around) that he didn't want any of those "bisexual" pajamas! (I think he meant "unisex.)

My children were almost as mortified as when my parents would take them to a teenage store at the mall to buy them birthday stuff and loudly ask for the senior citizens discount.
