Wal-Mart and homeland security- you can't make this stuff up

New posts
You don't become number one by making your customers unhappy.

Actually you do - if customer satisfaction is not what drives your profits.

That is why Wal-mart has to keep expanding, finding cheaper suppliers, and running its competition out of business - fair and direct competition is their achille's heel.

Wal-mart is typically ranked #1 worst (or close) on Forbe's list of Best and Worst companies for customer satisfaction - category retail department and discount stores.

I was pleasantly surprised by Publix's prices when I picked up a few things the day I covered the Elf ride. They were very competitive with what I am used to seeing.

Publix's buy one get one free sale is where you can really clean up Alicia! I usually get 100-120 dollars worth free groceries on a monthly basis. (I shop for Imy and I once every two weeks). :)

Yep, one of the myths is that Wal-mart has the lowest prices on everything. They just mark down some stuff to lure you in.

This is the site I was telling you about (thanks bob) where you can see what is on sale, BOGO, and it lets you make up your own shopping list of sale items.

I usually shop Tuesday night and then go back Wednesday that's when the sales switch over. At one point it was a mass migration from the coffee klatch to Publix.

The automotive section at Publix sucks, I couldn't find a single American made tire or battery.
