I said "nobody" but I didn't mean it literally. I didn't think much about yours, and at least in my opinion, you might be right. Again just my opinion, but my view of Karens is that they have some of the following traits:

Defensive
Plays victim card
Cruel
Privileged
People are just tools
Narcissistic
Needs to school others
Sociopathic
Poor coping skills
Must get their way
Overly dramatic

That may very well apply to the Confederates of the antebellum South. I think it certainly applies to some of the people today who are defending them. The problem I have is that more and more people are throwing out the term "Karen" to anyone the find unpleasant and disagree with. Personally, based again on my view of Karens, I think that Trump is the ultimate Karen.

All of you guys throwing around the "Karen" stuff might want to take note that some women are beginning to think that it should be classified as a racist,sexist,misogynistic slur. The way yall toss it around knowing that it berates white women of a certain age ....might want to back off the use of it.

Heritage is a bad thing now huh? Those camps are not part of a "proud" heritage but they are still "heritage". Those marching with Nazi flags are not part of my heritage and are not only from "confederate states". But it seems that they (southern states) are the only ones targeted for destruction. Cultural annihilation is ok when it happens to people of the southern US but ONLY them? Racism/discrimination is not limited to black vs. white. Has anyone gone through the lists of northerners who owned slaves and torn down any of the monuments in those states? Maybe this article can help.....

When your ancestors are deplorables, you should at least call them out as such. I've already done that with one of mine on this thread.
