Gidget - I promise to never get tired of you promoting solar energy and green construction.

Done! Gidget, wouldn't it be great if each of us contacted our representatives enough that they knew us by name or passion? Maybe they would begin to pay more attention to us, rather than the $$$.

Done Neighbor! Good luck and congrats!

I do. Not sure it changes the way they think, but they know my opinion anyway and they do respond and sometimes even call me back.

Rally the troups for the Vote, its a close race between Gidget and two others.

Your house is fabulous. Voted!!! Good luck

[Gidget]

WOW - I thank you all for your votes AND comments!

Since they cut off the top of our house when they posted the photo of our home for the contest I'll share another shot w/you.

Here's one that shows it from a different angle

BUT the one in the contest does show John in his Hands Across The Sand shirt and that makes me VERY HAPPY! Thrilled to have been a part of such an important day (twice!)

Thanks again!!
G

PS Been living in FL over a year now! Not in SoWal, but we lived in Destin while building. Did anyone else's year seem to fly by?? I just can't believe all that has taken place this past year......

[Lake View Too]

Much better shot of the house. You are one vote behind as of 6:30 Friday. Ya'll keep voting!

[Gidget]

Thanks LVT - it got my OCD going big time to see them cut off the top like that and to cut off one of my sentences that says "we produce more clean energy - than we've used" LOL they left off the "than we've used" which IMO is pretty important to the story! Basically now I think it will just be a popularity contest.

Thanks again!
G

That's great M!

Sometimes they contact me back with a form letter and sometimes it seems like the letters are original and totally address my point of view - but most often not. I just call or write them back and try and impress upon them - hey THIS is what I'm talkin' about! ;-) Hammer it in their heads so to speak
