The government faced an unprecedented viral pandemic in a society that moves around like none other in history. I was not forced to do anything. Just like your business mine was exempt. Many were not exempt because of the close contact between customers. It was bad for the economy but the lives it saved justified the temporary shut downs for those most vulnerable. I think many of the shut downs began with DJT.

You keep saying forced. Were you forced to do anything like take the money from the government or to stop working? Especially because you say that you do not pay employees to not work I am wondering if you took the money from the government.

Student loans were given to help students get an education. Education helps the students get jobs. Education is therefore a job creator. Corporations are called job creators and get all sorts of welfare from reduced impact fees to tax benefits. You should know this.

Young people who do not go to college generally do go right to work or live off someone else. Those who are motivated to work and lost work because of the temporary shut downs got help from the government. It was handled.

I do not think reparations is practical but I do understand the discussion. America took land from Native Americans. I think we should own our faults, listen and find functional solutions. Your "left leaning" statement is worse than silly. It borders inhuman. I really hope you figure that out one day before you cross that border...

You take government money and then complain that you were "forced" by the socialist left liberal radicals. Two people want a job at your business. You have one opening. One applicant completed college and during the interview seems to be motivated to work but has no work references. One applicant dropped out of high school and seems to be motivated to work but has no work references. A good businessman would choose the college educated applicant. This is reality. You are choosing an alternative reality that is based on your political brain washing.

Publix, Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Bass Pro Shops, Amazon...all of the so called job creators are given tax, fee or land incentives to bring their job creator businesses.

The Trump administration was in office during the establishment of the PPP program and he took full credit for it back then. I would not doubt if he criticizes it now. Brothers Osborne wrote a song "Not my Fault" to describe the way trumpy and his aides governed. You should watch the video for a laugh or two.

If you were a Native American you would see things a lot differently. If you were an African American you would see things a lot differently. All I can do is tell you to listen to their words and think with your brain and try to use more positive emotion. We promised Native Americans productive Land so their culture would continue to exist. Then we moved them off that land to the dessert. We took. We take. You justify.
