You are probably right. I was bated with insults and went a tad off track. I still maintain that boomers are in fact running the government and have created what we are dealing with today. Who would have thought the DSA would have so much influence?

“The Boomers” certainly do run the government. That’s the way generations work. Trump is a boomer. Mueller is a boomer. Comey is a boomer. What exactly would you prefer the new generation to do to change the government. You do know, of course, they can’t do much if they don’t vote.

It doesn't matter what I prefer. I just see the writing on the wall. There are a lot of boomers and even more millineals. Their values are not in alignment. Raised in vastly different worlds. Boomers are aging and will obviously be replaced with millineals. I see a clash and radical shift in government on the horiizon. We've seen inklings of that already. Although, I do see the progressive boomers using a lot of the DSA's language. The conservatives in government are in the most precarious position caused by this shift. Trump has accelerated this imo.

I couldn’t follow most of that. I don’t even know what DSA is. The Republican Party and Trump have been totally vehemently against avoidable health care. Is that what you want out of government? Health care for profit? No other industrialize country on earth has that system. They have also been fanatically anti-science. Do you think that is best way to run a country in the 21st century? I’m still kind of waiting for you to tell us what he has done so far that really helps people in this country. Tariffs? Tax cuts for the rich? Shut down of government? Alienation of all our major allies? Please give us some details. Thank you.

I said early on in this thread that the appointment of Supreme Court Justices, keeping Clinton out of the Office and a middle finger to the cronies in government were the main reasons for my vote. I have never defended Trumps mistakes or behavior. I just don't like how bigoted this thread is towards anyone that cast a vote to anyone other than Hillary.

Ultimately, I would like to see moderation in goverment but so far there has been no viable (electible) option.

The current Repubican and Democratic parties are a self serving joke. If I had voted moderate, it would have been a wasted vote.

The DSA = Democratic Socialist of America

Bernie Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez are members of this political party. No denying the DSA is garnering attention and gaining momentum. Hopefully, its a blip.

Establishment Dems are using DSA catch phrases to remain relevant and capture the millenial votes.

Stephen Miller is running the country. He's no boomer. Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr. aren't Boomers. The staff at Fox News, who guide the president's actions, is made up of non-boomers.
