Voting straight Dem isn't the answer. About 25% of the Pub party admits to not backing Trump, which means the number is probably double that.

Here is a start. If you are a Pub, in the primary vote against any candidate endorsed by Cheeto.

Then let's work on term limits so Jackson Lee, Mc Connell, Pelosi, Hatch, Shelby, Schumer et al can be put out to pasture. This is the real problem. You might occasionally lose a good representative of the people, but more often or not it should prevent fiefdoms and dynasties.

Voting straight party is never the solution.

It's one party, The Spending Party. The illusion of Red vs. Blue, Dem vs Rep, is what is presented to us as if this is our only choice. Meanwhile we are taxed into into serfdom. Florida has one of the highest gasoline taxes. The inflation built into our currencty is slowly draining the value of our dollars.

Term limits: I totally agree. The question is how do you get sociopaths to put restrictions on their own power?

The Constitution WORKS, more today than ever. I seek those who adhere to the constitution. A few examples: Dennis Kucinich (D), Justin Amash (R), Thomas Massie (R).

I used to watch all the networks but Mediacon dropped MSNBC - what do you think that is about? Maybe because they are airing all the Trump propaganda network bought by Oligarchs?

This is about oligarchy - global oligarchy. They don't like functioning governments.

Re: MSNBC. I don't have MediaComm (or TV for that matter), but having friends in the media industry I know it's all about ratings. Because higher ratings is what attracts more advertising dollars. And that is what television is ALLLLL about: attracting advertising dollars. Perhaps here is Trump country, and the Panhandle is Trump country, maybe MSNBC was not getting the ratings or the car dealers who spend a lot on advertising, did not want to advertise on MSNBC.

It's not about the best quality programming. Otherwise, we would be watching Ken Burn's documentaries every night during prime time. :)

Drifter: Take a good look at the video of the Helsinki Summit starting at 38:00 and listen through 41:00. I'd love to hear your assessment of how Trump answered that question. The "leader of the free world" (hahahahaha) is fixating on Hillary's emails. Almost two years after he was sworn in to protect the constitution from enemies. What a pathetic excuse for a human being. And if you didn't vote against Trump, you are a party to this piece of sh*t. You want to mention the constitution? The First Amendment is the Freedom of Speech and The Freedom of the Press. The guy you helped elect with your smug complacency is quoted as saying the press is the enemy of the people, and he wants to improve relations with a regime that regularly murders journalists that don't agree with their propaganda. Read this morning's WSJ editorial and you might get an inkling what a serious mistake you helped elect.

Voting straight dem increases the chance of house and Senate majority. It's necessary and important. This is no time to be naively suggesting idealistic long- term solutions. The patient has cancer and you're recommending a facelift.

Wait... I did... or maybe, I didn't... say Trump is a cancer... give me a chance to read the transcript...no collusion!

If I can further the discussion on the current POTUS meeting with the current President of Russia..I agree with everything these two professors are saying. And the one on the left Stephen Cohen did not vote for Trump .

You must put aside your own hatred of Trump the man, and want as our President, for him to have normalized, peaceful relations with the President of the one country who can bring our way of life to a roaring halt. Even though I personally did not like Obama, I was elated to see him start the process of normalizing relationships with Cuba.

No matter who the POTUS is, you want him to do his best to foster peace.

Full disclosure: I did not vote for Trump or "Her". But I support ANY POTUS who will have face to face dialogue with other heads of state, including the one country who could reduce our land to rubble inside of one hour. NK, European countries, Israel, Saudia Arabia, China, Japan, Russia, Canada, Mexico. Trump has met with all of these countries' leaders to have conversations/dialogue with them.

Peace comes from dialogue, and don't we all want peace?

All of this seething anger you spout is hurting only yourself. Make the most of your day.
That's a strawman. You're full of s**t. No one is objecting to meeting and even deal making. It's the treason we have a problem with. Preach that s**t to your half-wit choir, but please don't waste my time.
