What is "the change" everyone is talking about???

This dangerous method of opening must be changed. After a long night of PUI, I don't want to get in line at the emergency room just because I was hungry.

BR, I was only kidding about part of my statement. It is true that a business owner can write off the finance charges on the credit card if all purchases on the card are for legitimate business. The other part about buying furs and diamonds as a business, would be red flag matters for the IRS. That part was indeed a joke.

Bob, regarding the change of can opening, I'm still waiting for some to file a lawsuit against any company using that tough-to cut plastic that wraps an item. You know the kind that you have to open with your pocketknife, about gutting yourself as the knife tries to cut through. I bet many serious injuries result from the plastic packaging. I've come very close to doing some major damage myself, and have been lucky to this point.

Change...

Give me honest leadership concerned for the people they represent, not the people they owe favors. Take away the incentive to favor corporations instead of people by limiting donations and lobbying. In short I want government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Here is one of many examples of the change the candidates is talking about ... >>>[ame="http://www.sowal.com/bb/showthread.php?t=19085"]clicky[/ame]<<<

The very first stitch I ever had was from one of those when I was 18 months old. I got my finger stuck in a half-opened can, cut my middle finger, and slung blood all over my mother all the way to the hospital. They thought she had been in a car wreck.

On the same visit, I became the first child to ever escape the papoose board at Hall County Hospital...

More important, I want everyone to be able to get health insurance at a cost that isn't insanely expensive, regardless of pre-existing conditions.

Unfortunately most of the plans being thrown around are nothing more than a transfer of wealth from the young to the old.

No joke opn this stuff. Takes a box cutter knife and three Summo wrestlers just to get a battery out of one of these things. Bet the cost of packaging exceeds the cost of the product in 90% (give or take) of these things.:bang:

Well, as long as I'm dreaming, ...

I'd like the President to change time for the country to Daylight Savings Time year-round. I hate it getting dark at 5pm.

I'd like to not have to pay to receive free broadcast tv -- they need to scrap this HD TV requirements.

Ditch the war on drugs, which fills the prison system, and leaves many people living illegal lifestyles. It seems that the politicians who smoke and snort, are being hypocritical.

I'd like to see the Fed Gov't do something about stopping the war profiteers who steal money from the tax payers.

I'd like someone to put a plug in the US bank vault, which seems to be oozing out from all sides.

I'd like to see English be the preferred choice of language in the US.

I'd like to see the lobbyists get kicked out of DC, except for my BIL, who needs a job to pay for my sister's lifestyle.

and while you are taking notes, how about some whirled peas?
Great list, and while I'm sure partly in jest, very close to the actual truth of the matter
