Yes, the robbers busted down the front of the bank (how strange is that place - it just says BANK on the sign) and hauled the ATM machine out into the parking lot. WCSO, according to reports, has two men in custody.

Seems like a lot of trouble for a couple of thousand dollars, max. Did they not think anyone would notice them hauling an ATM on 98? Did they not think that a bank might have an alarm system?

This is the same place where the woman drove into the front of the restaurant last month - soon, it will be our first frontless shopping center.

It's crazy season, people.

Pretty much all of these ATM theft attempts result in early nominations to those "dumbest criminals" lists. It's amazing what meth and a bad economy make some idiots do.

Oh wow crazy is right! So is this up near El Mercadito where Jambone closed down? I don't recall seeing a bank.....I must pay more attention next time.
