True, I think people would be shocked if they knew how much cash was in those things, I know I was. Especially the Friday night of a long weekend. No one wants to come back in and replenish while they are off.

We had a bank robbed not to far from us up here. Now, rather than slipping a dye bomb in the money bag, they slip a fake bundle of bills with a GPS locator in it. It was the first time they had used it, here. The cops drove right to the guys' driveway and arrested them before they could even count the money!

Oh wow crazy is right! So is this up near El Mercadito where Jambone closed down? I don't recall seeing a bank.....I must pay more attention next time.

They pulled the ATM out by chaining it to their pickup but then couldn't lift it onto the truck! Darwin Award winners.

Yes, the robbers busted down the front of the bank (how strange is that place - it just says BANK on the sign) and hauled the ATM machine out into the parking lot. WCSO, according to reports, has two men in custody.

Once upon a time, that bank was the only one in SoWal - for quite a while. If you wanted a choice, you had to drive to Destin. This was back in the day when the closest supermarket was Miramar Beach.

I got nothing. I was hoping to get someone who does know to pipe in. I need to go to the post office and I'll check to see if they are open for business yet.
