Eventually, Walton County and the State of Florida will realize that they are killing the golden goose who laid the golden egg with their non-action by not seriously addressing the tax and insurance issues. I personally believe there is going to be a lot of elected officals looking for new jobs (probably working for State Farm!) after next election cycle on those two issues alone.

Allstate increased me about 50% last year and dropped me this year. they say I can be picked up by Royal Palm. Are they going to be a Royal Pain? Anyone know what's up with them? I assume I am getting the Royal treatment.

Kurt, same scenario for us. Just met with my insurance agent and decdied to go with Royal Palm. Our bill actually decreased by $200. Of course we were given the talk about how Royal Palm is an "A" company and is backed by the government or something ... it was the path of least resistance for us and I'm just glad it's off my desk.
