Worst Halloween Candy or trick or treat item

Sounds like you ought to consider a better neighborhood, or at least a more fun one.

I love our neighborhood on Trick or Treat night. We had a haunted lab, a haunted backyard, a haunted front yard and a haunted garage. The haunted lab was the best with a real come to life Frankenstein. Cool special effects too. Last year my kids were pretty freaked out by it but this year they loved it and loved being scared! My 9 year old did his share of scaring...he was a little frightening to look at.

Back to the candy, I always felt ripped off with Jolly Ranchers and Lifesavers. There was nothing special at all about them. When I had children, I learned that they don't really like chocolate as much as the more sour and gummy varieties, so we deliver a lot of Sweetarts, Smarties, Warheads and the like. One of our former neighbors always gave away Dove chocolates. I made sure that house stayed on their route, and I enjoyed those treats.

True bottom of the barrel story: The first year that I lived in my own home I was completely unprepared for trick or treaters. When the little girl who lived across the street from me knocked on the door, I had no candy. Went to the fridge and found a coke. She seemed happy enough. Because it was my only coke, I left right after that and went to a party.

Happy Halloween from the little pumpkin man!

I love the two women in the back with their arms crossed & toes tapping, looking like they're just waiting to scoop him up after he topples over. SO cute, LL.

Thank you! We went by a nursing home near the house and it made their day. Whenever he'd fall over, he was like that kid on the Christmas Story. He'd just roll around on the floor trying to get up. :funn:

How Cute LL. What a sweet little guy you got there. I miss those day's!!!
