:clap_1: We got about 3.5 inches!

This thunder & lightning storm gave us a better test for the "doggy mist" ... the herbal concoction that is suppose to soothe her and keep her from shaking and hyperventilating during thunder storms. It worked! She only shook a little with one thunder boomer ( I did with that one too)

Good to hear from you Rita! I have missed you! I am glad you got that amount of rain...don't think we were as blessed, but as dd says, we'll take anything around here! When do y'all leave for SoWal? Is it time for another Texgent?

The weather guy on our local Channel 3 News said we only had a half an inch of rain Saturday and only a half an inch Sunday. That was the measurement at Channel 3. Sure wasn't all we had! We had a inch Saturday afternoon. And from the two rains that came after we got home Saturday and the rain yesterday there was another almost 2 inches in my gauge. So who is he kidding! And now the NWS thinks we had a small rope tornado that did that damage in this neighborhood in Cordova Saturday night. Said winds did get to 100mph. Maybe so! We are still below normal for the month by 2 inches and for the year by 4 inches, according to their measurements. We are supposed to have temps back into the mid and upper 90's. Yuck!

:clap_1: It's raining! It's raining! And thundering! Starting thundering around 5:30. Destindreamin, have you had anymore rain? It rained on me coming home Wednesday from work. A good shower that left everything plenty wet obviously because spots of our yard and drive were still wet yesterday. It is so cool outside! We are going to have around 2 to 3 days around 89 or 90. You can tell a difference in the humidity level outside, I could last night. Went out last night after dark and there was a cooler than usual breeze blowing even then.

I just took Molly out and think I felt some mist. Either that or some birds are laughing at me about now.

I know what you mean. Something hit my hand yesterday morning as I went under a tree. It was just a little of something gray, I was thinking, if that was a bird! Wasn't happy whatever it was!

we had some severe storms roll thru here yesterday, we didn't receive as much rain as those around us did. anywho, in the space of one hour our temp dropped 29 degrees ! talk about sinus pressure....

They are showing a 50% chance of rain today. High today around 91 they are now showing, but highs showing in the mid to upper 80's through next Thursday. I can almost bet it will be hotter than that. They can never predict the weather right here, especially a week in advance, unless there is a 90 or 100% chance of rain and it is a big system. I always have the sinus pressure. Head hurting, ears hurting and popping, stuffy nose all the time, drainage down the back of the throat that always keeps my throat sore, teeth hurting! Just lovely!

they are always wrong here too. 2 years ago when we had the big snow at christmas, they kept saying only 6 inches of snow. imagine their surprise when we ended up with 18 inches of snow. i think even i could forcast the weather. well folks, it may be sunny, maybe not. could rain, could storm, could be severe, could be heavy rain. then again maybe not.
